Dublin Roots
Originally from a seaside town on the North Coast of Dublin. At 16 I began working with the family business, a hair salon. I spent over 10 years working in the hair industry, working in one of the top salons in Dublin. I achieved a Master Colour Expert Diploma from Wella, a global colour brand and many other diplomas. I'm always looking for ways to improve and learn, which sparked the idea of a career change.
Career Transformation
After one too many salon closures during the COVID 19 pandemic. I made the bold decision to trade scissors for spreadsheets- a change that opened up a whole new career path.
A little twist in my story
I had never taken a break in my career to travel and I always regretted it. So, in summer 2023 I left Ireland and I spent 18months based in beautiful Valencia, Spain. It was such an incredible experience that gave me a fresh perspective on life (and a love for paella!). Living abroad gave me newfound energy and taught me adaptability, a skill I now bring to my work every day.
Global Explorer
Using Valencia as my base, I backpacked through countries such as Colombia and Peru (learning Spanish came in very useful here) to the other side of the world; Australia, New Zealand and The Philippines.
Present Day
Now I'm seeking to bring my unique blend of professional expertise, global perspective and positive energy to a forward-thinking accounting team.
